These lamps are powered by solar energy and attract mosquitoes with a specific wavelength of light. A built-in fan generates negative pressure airflow, drawing the mosquitoes into a collector where they are dried and dehydrated, thus achieving physical mosquito control. The device requires no external power source and is suitable for outdoor locations such as courtyards, parks, and farmland.
Outdoor solar-powered mosquito killer lamps are environmentally friendly devices that use solar energy to kill mosquitoes physically. Their working principle is based on the phototaxis of insects, using specific wavelengths of LED light (especially ultraviolet light) to attract flying insects such as mosquitoes. Unlike traditional electric mosquito killer lamps, suction mosquito killer lamps do not use a high-voltage grid; instead, they rely on a built-in fan system to kill mosquitoes.
When mosquitoes are attracted to the light source and approach the lamp, the suction device activates. A small fan rotates at high speed, generating negative pressure airflow that draws the approaching mosquitoes into the lamp. The sucked-in mosquitoes cannot escape the strong vortex created by the fan and are ultimately guided into the collection container. The mosquitoes in the collection container die naturally after being air-dried and dehydrated; the entire process involves no high-voltage electric shocks or chemical agents.
For power supply, the solar panel on top of the device converts sunlight into electricity during the day, which is stored in the built-in battery. At night or in low light conditions, the system automatically powers on the insect-attracting lamp and fan. Some products are equipped with intelligent light and rain control functions, automatically turning on at dusk and automatically entering a protection mode when the humidity exceeds 95% RH during rainy weather, resuming operation after the rain stops. The device casing is mostly made of sheet metal or ABS material, with a protection rating of up to IP67, suitable for outdoor humid and rainy environments.
Outdoor solar-powered mosquito killer lamps are suitable for home courtyards, farmland, orchards, parks, villas, campsites, and other scenarios. Some products also integrate multiple mosquito-attracting systems, combining scent attraction, thermal bionic attraction, and wind attraction to further improve trapping efficiency. For daily maintenance, it is necessary to regularly clean the dust on the surface of the solar panel to ensure charging efficiency and clean the insect remains in the collection container. Outdoor solar-powered mosquito killer lamps use solar power, a fan to draw in mosquitoes, and physical drying to control mosquitoes. They do not use high-voltage power grids or chemical agents, making them a safe and environmentally friendly outdoor mosquito control solution.
