The combination of carbon fiber support and portable design has brought about performance improvements for the Portable Meteorograph. In the field of outdoor meteorological monitoring, the stability, durability, and portability of equipment directly affect the accuracy of monitoring data and operational efficiency. Due to its excellent material properties, the carbon fiber support has become an ideal supporting structure for outdoor meteorological monitoring systems. With a density of only one-fourth that of steel (approximately 1.7g/cm³), while its tensile strength can reach over 3500MPa—far exceeding ordinary steel—this high-strength and low-density characteristic ensures that the support can still stably hold monitoring equipment in complex outdoor meteorological conditions, such as severe weather with winds exceeding level 8 or heavy rain. Additionally, it reduces the overall weight by over 60%, greatly easing the burden of outdoor transportation.
The excellent corrosion resistance of carbon fiber withstands the erosion of harsh outdoor environments like moisture and acid-base conditions. In highly corrosive environments such as coastal areas with high salt spray or industrial pollution zones, its service life can reach 3-5 times that of ordinary metal supports, effectively reducing maintenance costs and replacement frequency. Its fatigue resistance allows it to withstand more than 10⁷ stress cycles without fracture, ensuring the support maintains structural stability during long-term use and avoiding deformation due to repeated stress.
Portable design is crucial to the efficient application of the Portable Meteorograph. The system adopts a modular structure: the support can be folded, and monitoring equipment can be quickly disassembled, significantly reducing the storage volume—only 1/5 of the expanded size when folded. By optimizing component dimensions and connection methods, it minimizes space occupation while ensuring complete functionality. Equipped with a special portable package, the interior features a buffer protection layer and fixed buckles, which not only safeguard the equipment during transportation but also provide two carrying methods (a backpack system and a portable handle) to adapt to different outdoor operation scenarios.
