This article introduces two Portable Weather Stations: the Handheld Weather Station FT-SQ11 and the Portable Weather Station FT-BQX8 with a tripod.
Handheld Weather Station FT-SQ11
The FT-SQ11 is compact and lightweight, measuring 37020880mm and weighing only 363.2g for effortless portability. Its 3.5-inch LCD screen clearly displays 13 meteorological parameters, including wind speed, wind direction, temperature, and humidity. Equipped with an internal electronic compass, it supports 360° wind direction monitoring and allows free switching between automatic and manual reading modes. With a large 40,000-data storage capacity and adjustable recording intervals (1-60 minutes), it enables flexible data logging. The Type-C interface facilitates easy data export, while GNSS triple-mode positioning (with an optional single BeiDou mode) ensures fast and precise location tracking. A 3,800mAh lithium battery combined with low-power design delivers up to 18 hours of battery life. It can also be optionally fitted with a tripod and an external DTU-4G module for data upload to cloud platforms. The 4G module supports easy replacement of IoT SIM cards, making it suitable for meteorological, environmental protection, and other monitoring fields.

Portable Weather Station FT-BQX8 with Tripod
As a high-precision automatic weather observation device, the FT-BQX8 features high integration, low power consumption, and quick installation, ideal for field monitoring. It is equipped with an 8-in-1 sensor for real-time data collection of wind speed, wind direction, PM2.5, noise, and other parameters. The sensor housing, made of imported ASA material with an IP65+ protection rating, resists salt spray corrosion. The device supports multiple transmission methods (wired, Bluetooth, GPRS) for plug-and-play deployment, suitable for emergency weather observation and mobile meteorological monitoring. Its foldable and telescopic aluminum alloy tripod ensures easy transportation and installation.

Summary
Both weather stations are field-friendly and monitor multiple meteorological elements, but they differ in design focus:
The FT-SQ11 emphasizes handheld operation and personal convenience, ideal for on-demand monitoring.
The FT-BQX8, with its tripod, is designed for long-term stable monitoring, offering more comprehensive environmental parameters and superior protection.
Users can choose between them based on specific scenarios and monitoring requirements.
